The Base Station. Looks very much like the Cobra 2010GTL, but offers a lower profile
design. Includes the following standard features:

• AM/USB/LSB operation.
• 10 NOAA Weather Channels.
• 5 Memory Channels with push button access.
• Dual Channel watch.
• Channel scan.
• Memory scan.
• LCD Display with frequency display and channel display.
• Dual analog meters:
• One for TX-Power/S-Meter.
• One for Modulation/SWR.
• Front controls are:
• Power & Volume
• Squelch
• RF-Gain
• Mic-Gain
• Clarifier
• Channel
• SWR Cal
• Meter Function Cal-SWR-MOD
• Plus 8 multifunction buttons.

• The known variable adjustments are:
• VR4 AM carrier
• VR14 ALC ssb
• Modulation Limiter:
• Remove small transistor under wx board next to diode D24.
• Set AM Carrier to 4 Watts No More. Modulation will be better than 100%.
• SSB output should be 12 Watts PEP or better.

• Solder SJ2 Jumper pads located just left of the channel modification jumper.
• To change shift press CRSE button.

OPEN CLARIFIER MODIFCATION

• Locate jumper J94 located just left of C178 on main PC board.
• Locate jumper J132 cut J132, add insulated jumper between J94 and J132
  (put jumper on J132 on half closest to the front of the radio).
