For motorcyclists, racing enthusiasts,
or any other user who needs to operate a two-way radio while wearing head
protection, the SPM-800 series mics represents a big step forward. The
SPM-800B is an in-helmet boom microphone and speaker system perfect for
those wearing half-helmets. For users whose safety demands full face helmets,
the SPM-800F is an in-helmet mic/speaker system. The electret mic systems
reduce background noise to an absolute minimum. Either system is
fully modular and removable from the helmet when not needed.
The SPM-800B/800F installs in the helmet pads using
only Velcro (included) - you need not drill any holes in the helmet which
might potentially weaken it. Both microphones feature a large, rubber-covered
Push-To-Talk button that can be secured to handlebars or held in the palm
of the hand and is easy to find and operate, even while wearing heavy gloves!
